Kevin Murphy, value-based and complex care consultant, is an accomplished entrepreneur and driven Chief Executive, with 14 years of value-based and in-home care expertise. Prior to co-founding VBC Capital Partners Mr. Murphy led the development, growth, and diversification of PraxisCare’s value-based care strategies including the launch of two new ACO’s. Prior to that Mr. Murphy served as Executive Director for Clover Health Partners where he led Clover’s efforts to build and launch its Direct Contracting Entity. Prior to that Mr. Murphy led Clover’s efforts to improve the lives and clinical outcomes of their highest risk members through Principium Health, which he co-founded and served as CEO. Prior to founding Principium, Mr. Murphy served as COO of U.S. Medical Management and Visiting Physicians Association from 2011 to 2015. As COO of USMM he transformed the nation’s largest house call practice (U.S. Medical Management/VPA) from a 17-year-old Fee-For-Service house call practice into one of the most successful high-risk value-based medical practices to date. Mr. Murphy dedicated over ten years of his career to serving vulnerable Medicare patients in the home setting and has become a thought leader in Complex Care.

Greg Shockey is a healthcare executive with over 30 years of accounting, consulting, and leadership experience. Prior to co-founding VBC Capital Partners Mr. Shockey served in a variety of roles in numerous healthcare organizations including financial, management, consulting, leadership, and governance responsibilities. He is an industry innovator in the field of healthcare reform initiatives. He leads ACO partnerships at Health Endeavors, a prominent population health platform. Mr. Shockey serves on the board of ACO National Network which is a network of ACOs, and ACO-like entities, across the country providing direct to employer contracting for self-funded employers. He is also a Board Member of Well Team Partners which is an ACO direct contracting consulting company specializing in Network Development. In 2013 Mr. Shockey founded National Endeavors and Accountable Care solutions. These ACO consulting, organizational and operational support companies advised ACO management and ACO Governing Bodies. From 2006 to 2013 Mr. Shockey founded and served as president of Lung Center of America. Prior to that Mr. Shockey served as CFO for Asthma & Lung Centers from 1997 to 2006, a corporate chain of Pulmonary Rehabilitation facilities operated as Comprehensive Outpatient Rehab Facilities (CORFs).

Jason Siegel, FSA, MAAA has worked in most spaces within the health industry, specializing in the Affordable Care Act, risk adjustment, value-based reimbursement, financial reporting, and Medicare Direct Contracting. In his current role he performs FP&A activities, and brings a disciplined approach to assessing new business opportunities. His work has influenced government policy, health plan strategy, and his profession. Jason's research has been cited in Forbes, Healthcare Finance News, BenefitsPro, Investor’s Business Daily, In-Brief by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Weekly Standard. He has been interviewed by the New York Times, Associated Press, Health Plan Markets, and Modern Healthcare. His white papers have been cited in several congressional testimonies. Prior to co-founding VBC Capital Partners Mr. Siegel served as Principal and Actuary, Direct Contracting for Clover Health. Mr. Siegel spent 9 years as a Senior Consulting Actuary with Wakely Consulting Group and Milliman where he worked on Medicaid rate and experience review, ACA rate filings, modeling to simulate and project risk transfer payments under the ACA, creation of competitive analysis heat maps, review of shared savings reimbursement structures, and the development of cost and utilization benchmarks for startup technology companies.
